Inland Hospital is proud to offer our community many diabetes wellness services, including:

1. Insulin and other medication management; one-on-one support with a certified diabetes educator
2. "Diabetes Self-Management"-a self-management education program that includes time with a nurse and dietitian; and group classes
3. Small Steps Big Rewards~ Pre-Diabetes Classes-to help those who may have been told by their caregiver that they are at risk for diabetes unless they make changes.
4. Gestational Diabetes Education
5. Telephonic Diabetes Education and Support Program-Monthly individual education and support offered in the work setting for Maine State Employees, Medical Care Development, and Maine Municipal Health Trust over the course of one year. Initial personal assessment, then monthly contact by phone with an Inland Diabetes Educator.
6. Inpatient Diabetes Management
7. Diabetes Risk Test
