  • LET'S GO! Fly a Kite event - Simple & Successful

    What a gorgeous day Saturday was to make and fly a kite at Head of Falls in Waterville! Thank you to all the 83 families who came and participated - 278 people!! The joy on the children’s faces was priceless! Who knew such a simple thing as flying a kite would be so much fun…and get kids active!

  • Inland primary care practices recognized for excellence!

    Inland is proud to share that our primary care practices (Inland Family Care and Inland Medical Associates) were highlighted for excellence in a recent Consumer Reports magazine article, How does your doctor compare?”.
    Special congratulations to two of our Inland Family Care practices that were recognized for Top Care - kudos to the Washington Street practice with providers Jim Douglas, DO, Tara Dwelley, NP-C, and Bridgett Fisher, FNP -- and the Oakland practice with providers Henry Glover, DO and Holly Desmarais, D-FNP-C! They were among only three practices in Maine recognized for the Top Care designation. Top Care is defined as having the highest performance in three areas of care: diabetes, heart disease and high blood pressure. The ratings apply to groups of providers in order to get more data and statistically meaningful results.

  • Welcome Bridgett Fisher, FNP

    Please welcome Bridgett Fisher, FNP, a family nurse practitioner, to Inland Family Care.
    Bridgett joined Dr. Jim Douglas and Tara Dwelley, FNP at our Washington Street practice in Waterville on March 21. She has been a primary care provider for more than four years and is board-certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.

    Inland Hospital Celebrates National Donate Life Month – A Time to Honor Those Touched by Donation and Transplantation

The month-long celebration showcases various perspectives of those touched by donation and transplantation.  Every year since 2002, April has been filled with stories to spread the lifesaving message of donation in order to motivate people to register as organ, eye and tissue donors.   • New Family Nurse Practitioner

    Inland welcomes Holly Desmarais, D-FNP-C to Inland Family Care-Oakland. Holly joined us on February 29. She is board-certified and earned her Doctorate of Nursing Practice at Quinnipiac University. She has 27 years of nursing experience and was most recently with ProHealth Physicians in Connecticut.
